Dutch Artist Peter van de Wijngaart created a work of art that shows the political arena that YouTube became in the election period. With hunderds of video's the US Flag is created. The result is daunting, amusing and inspiring. News coverage is intertwined with personal messages of hope and admiration, but also of fear and hate. Together, they make up the Stars and Stripes of Today's America. Peter van de Wijngaart is an artist who left his home town of Amsterdam to live and work in New York City for six months. He was to be inspired and amazed by New York City in a period of a political battle and a financial crisis.
